The Power of Positivity

By

Thinking of ‘Positivity’, I often build an imagery of the blossoming Morning Glory flowers in a classic summer month, where I’m seated with my laptop in a woodden chair, in a rose wood cottage in the middle of a meadow.

In the same imagery, and across the only window behind the pale-yellow blinds, I see butterflies and bees visiting the morning glory flowers, the nectar of which delights them.

The morning air is crisp and heavy; enhancing the essence of nature’s abundance that blends with the aroma of coffee and the soft music from my Spotify.

The papers of my manuscript flutters on my table, as a thin sweep of breeze evades my imagery. I pick up the coffee mug for a sip, and the papers fly away, hither and tither.

I’m surprised by this audacity.

And in that moment, a curiosity arises in me, if I’m doing justice not to write a few words about this source of enjoyment?

Between me and the nature, there is nothing deters me. Because, in the blue of this nature, a certain calmness arises.

This energy brings a cheerfulness to write. The cheerfulness is the result to stay open – open to ideas, open to imagery, open to your vast imagination, open to mistakes and open to a possibility that the next sentence would surprise us.

I believe, this is how the writing begins.
